Nature Center at the Summit

Build connections with nature through hands-on projects, themed activities and live animal encounters in the heart of Roselawn.

Highfield Discovery Garden 

Highfield Discovery Garden is a vibrant, interactive wonderland designed to spark curiosity and creativity in guests of all ages. From the towering Discovery Tree to the seven themed gardens - including the Whimsical Wizard's Garden, buzzing Butterfly Garden and the hands-on Vegetable Garden - exploration and imagination await at every turn. The Music Garden adds another playful element, where guests can make music on a collection of outdoor instruments.

Winton Woods Farm & Equestrian Center

Nestled in the heart of Winton Woods, the Farm and Equestrian Center is packed with family-friendly fun and equine adventure.

Glenwood Gardens Birthday Party

 Includes:

  • Entrance into Highfield Discovery Garden for 20 people; Additional guests charged regular Garden entry.
  • Entrance into Glenwood Gardens for all invited guests
  • A 45-minute interpreter program

Woodland Mound Birthday Parties

Woodland Mound offers two party options: indoor and outdoor.

Indoor Birthday Party

Party Times:
Saturdays & Sundays, except Holidays
January - April, October – December
10 a.m. & 2 p.m.

Includes: 

  • Private party area in the indoor auditorium for 3 hours
  • 45-minute Nature Program
  • Entrance into Woodland Mound for all invited guests

Cost: $245

Outdoor Birthday Party

Party Times:
Any Day Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend
11 a.m. & 2 p.m

Includes:

  • Private party area in the indoor auditorium for 2 hours
  • Ten (10) entries into the wet playground (children ages 2-12).
  • Entrance into Woodland Mound Park for all invited guests

Cost: $225

Optional Nature Program*: $100

*Nature program is subject to the availability of Great Parks’ staff. The program will take place within the reserved time period. Please plan gifts, treats, and playtime accordingly when adding on this interactive learning opportunity.

Additional wet playground guests: $5.75 each

*Up to 15 additional guests added at the Seasongood Nature Center on the day of the event

Note: In the event that the wet playground must be closed due to inclement weather or emergency maintenance, guests may choose to receive a full refund, reschedule the party or use the party area at the reserved time and receive rainchecks for the wet playground to be used at a later date.
