Pollinator Festival & 5K
This community celebration of precious pollinators is buzzing with family-friendly fun! Explore the region’s industrious bloom boosters, their vital role in a balanced ecosystem and how native plant species contribute to their success. Enjoy a free concert from The Tillers, peruse local vendor and exhibitor booths and visit the immersive butterfly garden. Don’t forget to dress as your favorite pollinator for a chance to win the costume contest!
Lace up your running shoes before the festival for the second annual Pollinator 5K. The family-friendly run/walk begins at 9 a.m. along the scenic paved trails of Miami Whitewater Forest. Racers receive a custom race medal, t-shirt, native seeds packet from Shaker Trace Nursery and Great Parks swag.
