E-Waste Collection

E-Waste Collection

Disposing of electronic waste (e-waste) in landfills can release toxic chemicals such as flame retardants and heavy metals into watersheds and wildlife habitats. To help protect the environment and support its sustainability goals, Great Parks collaborates with Cohen Recycling to offer this important community service. E-waste like old laptops, televisions and cell phones is the fastest-growing waste stream in the world, with the U.S. leading in production. This program gives Hamilton County residents a simple, responsible way to recycle their e-waste. There is no limit to the number of items accepted. Visit Cohen's website for a list of acceptable and unacceptable items.
