Restoring habitats through harvesting and seeding

Established in 1992 to support habitat restoration through harvesting and storing native prairie and wetland seeds. Over the years, Shaker Trace Nursery has expanded to include seed collection and processing, making it a vital hub in Miami Whitewater Forest for conservation and ecological stewardship. The nursery features a drying barn, greenhouse, outbuildings, plant beds and aquaculture ponds.
