Pollinator Festival & 5K

This community celebration of precious pollinators is buzzing with family-friendly fun! Explore the region’s industrious bloom boosters, their vital role in a balanced ecosystem and how native plant species contribute to their success. Enjoy free live music, peruse local vendor and exhibitor booths and visit the immersive butterfly garden. Don’t forget to dress as your favorite pollinator for a chance to win the costume contest!

Lace up your running shoes before the festival for the second annual Pollinator 5K. The family-friendly run/walk begins at 9 a.m. along the scenic paved trails of Miami Whitewater Forest. Racers receive a custom race medal, t-shirt, native seeds packet from Shaker Trace Nursery and Great Parks swag.
